Ms. Westwood’s dazzling collection will be featured in an exhibit called: Vivienne Westwood Shoes, An Exhibition 1973 – 2010 – where those lucky enough to live or buy a ticket to fly to London can ogle at  over 200 pairs of sexy heels until September 22nd. LOKI Wednesdays with DJ INFAMOUS

So last Wednesday, I brought up DJ Holiday Heavy Hitter DJ Infamous to Toronto as a special guest DJ at Loki Lounge for the regular Witness Wednesdays. It was a hell of a night. We all had a blast. Everyone came out to support and it was an overall amazing evening. Thank you to EVERYONE that showed love and came to support iLuvlola.net | DJ Wikked | On Entertainment.
A very special thank you goes to P Reign, who was our special host for the evening for lending his support in making the night as successful as it was. Also special thanks to Stix Malone for helping me pull all this together, Mona Lady Luck and all the other special guests who came out: Future Da Prince (Drake’s DJ), T-Rexxx (1LoveTO), Lennox Lewis, Lil X, Taj (Maxamus), Sonny Weems (Toronto Raptors), Jeni (Flow93.5), A-Game, DJ Tilt, Spinz, Ken Masters, Richie Sosa, Anaya Hayes, Bigshot, Hawk Montana, Bishop Brigante, Ponytailz, DJ Queen of Spades, Solitair, Rochester and everyone else who was in the building but I missed!!! These pictures don’t begin to explain what a blast it was, but you’ll get the idea. Shout out to Brohawk on the photos.

Sure Friday has already come and gone, but now I urge you to be patient as next Friday, August 27th features that good ole’ mix of something brand-new and classic! You’ve seen this before, and just in case you’ve forgotten, picture this: a Q & A, featuringMTV’s Tika Simone and featuring artists like Silver Solitair – formerly known as Solitair.
Oh and by the way, dust off your mic and practice lots (even if it’s in front of the mirror or your bestie), as this open mic Intimate and Interactive is your chance to rock da house!!

[Event] Christian Rich at the Highline Ballroom (NYC)

The homies, Christian Rich will be DJ’ing tomorrow at the Highline Ballroom in New York. They recently DJ’d a gig for me here in Toronto during Caribana weekend and they were absolutely amazing. [Event] Sachika Fall 2010: Runway in a Circus

Identical twin designers, To-Tam and To-Nya Sachika ran away to New York from Montreal a few years ago and haven’t looked back! Sachika’s designs are wild and creative pieces fitted for a-listers like Rihanna or Nicki Minaj (you know the type, the yin and the yang, the edgy elegance mixed with supple femininity).
Sachika’s Fall 2010 Collection will be housed at Carnival  located at 110 University Place (between 12-13th), New York.

So this upcoming Wednesday, August 18th, I’m bringing up to Toronto another friend of mine to kick it with us up here, Gucci Mane’s official DJ, Bricksquad 1017 & The Commission representative, DJ HOLIDAY!! Yep! First time in Toronto. It’s going to be beautiful. Holiday will be spinning a set inside Loki Lounge (577 King St. W) and will definitely be partying it up as well! Hometown celebrity-rapper-favorite P REIGN will be hosting!! We’ll be playing exclusive tracks from P Reign’s “When It Reigns It Pours” mixtape. Who knows who else might come through

[Event] Toronto Island Concert Series

Did you hear? Walk the Tightrope, Call the Law, Many Moons have passed and in a matter of hours Janelle Monae will be performing at Olympic Island!

Also featured are Arcade Fire, Biz Markie and The Sadies!! Expect an awesome and eclectic show, one that will definitely make you forget the willies that you always get on Friday the 13th!

Tickets are $47; the box office opens at 1:00pm and it is located on the mainland (city side) at the entrance of the Ferry Terminal.

As the first official night with iluvlola.net on board for Witness Wednesdays we decided to bring out a very dear friend from Atlanta, GA to host the night and party with Toronto like he does in every other city…Mr. Kenny Burns

An industry veteran, Kenny has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the music business such as Jay Z & Damon Dash while he was VP at Roc A Fella, Andre Harrell at Motown Records, Monica, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Usher and countless others. His clothing line, RyanKenny earned the distinction of becoming the first black designers featured in Saks Fifth Avenue since Wille Wear had in the 1980’s. Through a partnership with Alloy Media and Marketing, the official “Lifestyle Specialist,” has lent his savvy marketing prowess to a host of clients including AXE/Unilever and Heineken. Kenny helped revitalize the Red Star moniker and also organized the immensely successful Heineken Red Star Soul Tour, which he also hosted. The party was rocking till 3 am with music by none other than Christian Rich & DJ Lissa Monet and Hustle Simmons on the mic. Shout out to everyone from out of town that came through: Cleveland, Chicago, Miami, ATL, Houston, NYC….I love ya’ll!.
