What up people!
Right now I’m blogging from the Shady offices in NY, since I don’t have my laptop with me. I was just in LA for the weekend, and will be spending this week in NY, and then home to Toronto on Saturday night. LA was great. I went in the studio with Polow at interscope and listened to some tracks from Keri Hilson’s upcoming album “In a Perfect World.” I also saw the Game in concert at club Nokia, which was dope. I just finished an interview with Marc Ecko at the Ecko offices for Cream Magazine here in NY and I have some more work to do in the next few days before leaving. It’s been a trip…Unfortunately I don’t have a digital camera with me (I knowww i knowww!) so for those of you who have added me on facebook, you can see some of my mobile uploads…

”A month before beginning a yearlong federal prison sentence, rapper T.I. was in court again, but this time he wasn’t in the hot seat.
The performer, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., spoke Friday to dozens of high school students, half serving juvenile sentences, at the Georgia Supreme Court.
“You can see from me that nobody is too rich, too famous, too cool … to make a mistake and pay a price for it,” he said. “More important … is what you are able to take away from that mistake. How can you use that mistake to ensure you will never make a similar mistake again?”
Harris, 28, urged them to stay in school. “The things you do not have in your life, the things you do not have in your possession, will be a reflection of the things you have not learned,” said Harris, whose 2008 firearms conviction that will send him to prison for a year starting next month. ”

Putting the website together was a combined effort between myself and Hustlegrl as we went back and forth a few times on what looked good and what didn’t. I understand that some things may still not be functioning as well, and some of the content may not look too pretty, but we’ll eventually get the hang of everything.
I hope you like it. You won’t find any gossip on the website, but rather music/fashion/entertainment – an overall lifestyle that my company Lola Media Group (LMG) brings to the table. I acquired new bloggers a few months ago – Zale, Knell, Cynthia, Ildino – who have all been playing an integral role in the continuous upate of the website. They will continue to do so, in a combined effort to bring you the latest news and updates of what’s going on in North America (and the world). The website has a more interactive approach than most blogs and other websites, and it doesn’t provide just information. It allows you to learn, understand, download, read, watch, as well as purchase. The STORE section of ILUVLOLA will be running in full capacity in the next couple of months. In fact the entire website will be running in full capacity in the next few months. We are still adjusting to the change.

I found out about the UNC Clef Hangers via TSS and their fan youtube page had some really incredible videos of their performances. He’s very down to earth, cool and easy to talk to. Appreciative of his fans, and greateful for everything he’s achieved to this day, his work ethics are maybe only second to his “Offset Swagg.” With 4 mixtapes ready to drop in the next few months, Yung LA takes his music very seriously. I’m just getting ready to submit a very cool interview him and I did recently, so look out for that on Smoking Section .
