I’m not in Canada right now, so I’m not sure how much hype there was around this documentary, but MTV had previews and previews and previews and plenty of reminders about it, all day every day. Finally the day came, and instead of going to 300 to bowl, Mariah and I sat in with a glass of wine and watched as Britney unfolded episodes of her life and drama one bit at a time.
It was cool. It really was. I never looked at Britney as “crazy”…just stressed. I mean I would not want to be her. Her life consists of work work work and paparazzi. Nothing else. It was a revelation that she needed to do in order for people to get a better understanding of her.
Plus it was great promo for her new album. I knew she was going to bounce back. Once you fall that hard, and that deep you either give up completely, or you get back on track. As a human being you need to challenge yourself constantly, and you’re either up for it, or not at all.
Anyways, if you never got a chance to see it, try to catch it in one of the numerous repeats to follow. It’s good TV.

I am really annoyed because I had already posted this whole thing and the computer here in the business centre crashed on me…
Anyways, here are further developments on the Dirty Awards Recap.
As BOSSIP.com tells it…
” The beef between Shawty Lo and T.I. seemed far from dead. Shawty Lo performed a few randoms before he and his crew (of about 10) broke into an impromptu diss version of Grand Hustle artist Yung LA’s song “Ain’t I.”
As Lo performed his version with a chorus “Don’t I,” an audience member identified by an eyewitness as Capitol recording artist Alfamega, allegedly threw a chair onto the stage. At that point, Yung LA and Big Kuntry rushed the stage and started throwing blows. Authorities broke the fight up rather quickly and escorted everyone off of the stage. Big Kuntry was later seen in the back of a Clayton County squad car on his cell phone. Most likely setting up his bail money for the night.
T.I. took the stage shortly after the fight to accept the humanitarian of the year award and addressed Shawty Lo’s antics in his speech. A private conversation took place between T.I. and Shawty-Lo, where T.I. tried to dead the beef once again. (Click HERE to read the rest of the BOSSIP.COM recap)
Now after watching the video performance of Shawty Lo, I realized that he also went at Tip’s baby momma/wifey/girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Foster. That’s when Alfamega threw the chair at the stage, but you will see it all in the video.
The second video shows T.I.’s performance with Yung L.A. and Young Dro, and everyone else to “Ain’t I” where I think they were taunting Shawty Lo with some of the lyrics. Towards the end of the song, Alfamega jumped off stage and threw some punches knocking a guy (who is rumoured to have been Shawty Lo’s brother) out cold. You’ll see for yourself though…
Here’s the vids you need to watch to understand:

I also did want to add that HipHopDX mentioned another fight between LA The Darkman and Young Jeezy’s CTE clique. I was told that the brawl could have quite possibly gone down because DJ Drama and Young Jeezy are going through something right now. (Jeezy has beef with Gucci Mane and Drama did a mixtape with Gucci Mane, which Young Jeezy took offense to, yelling out Drama’s name at his recent performances, saying fuck DJ Drama). If something went down, it didn’t go down at the awards though…
Just thought I’d give you guys the entire breakdown!
And here’s two videos of BIG KUNTRY KING and DJ DRAMA showing love to ILUVLOLA!!

DIRTY AWARDS RECAP!
Uncategorized | 1 Comment
I’m gonna do a Dirty Awards photo recap a little later, when I can go home and upload my photos, but for now I’ll give you the scoop breakdown. Right now I’m at a friend’s house and I can’t write the whole experience because it will take forever. Let’s just say that it was a long and eventful evening. I started off my night with my media pass…thinking it was going to get me in the show and everything…NOPE! Super wrong. The media pass got me on the red carpet and in the media room. What kind of bs is that?!?!? Who walked on the red/black carpet? Rick Ross, Keri Hilson, Big Kuntry, Alfamega, Mr. collipark, Soulja Boy, VIC, Gorilla zoe, Dj Drama, and a bunch of other people. Other artists like Young Jc, Trey Songz, Bobby Valentino, David Banner, T.I., Shawty Lo, Ludacris, Monica and plenty of others didn’t bother coming through the red carpet.
So we were all escorted to the media room. As we were enjoying Young Joc’s sarcasm, Shawty Lo takes the stage ( we can see him from the TV screens in the room) and he full out calls out Yung LA from the GrandHustle camp, backed up by all his goons on stage. (I think when he called his name, he fully did the pistol clap sound too, but I wasn’t paying too much attention…not until the camera showed Shawty Lo’s face and he was dead serious.)
As we’re watching this, Young Joc’s face dropped!
WTF?!
Did Shawty Lo just start another beef ON stage?
All of a sudden (as I was told by other parties) the Grandhustle camp stood up and chairs were thrown at the stage. I noticed on the TV screen that one of Shawty Lo’s people muttered the words “Fuck you” as he was walking off the stage. Shawty Lo threw the mic on the floor and that’s when I was like “OMG IT’S ON!!!”
So myself and two other journalists were trying to cross the curtain to get to the backstage VIP area to find out what was going on. The TV screens went blank, meaning the show was disrupted. The security guard wouldn’t let us get to backstage, and at this point I was kicking myself in the ass for even bothering with the media passes. I should have just gotten regular artist passes from one of my friends….and as I’m arguing with the security guard to let us through..
and there came my rescue….the wonderful, delicious, sexy, Dj Trauma!!!! Being that he cares so much for my well being, and that I absolutely HAD to have a backstage wristband, he hooked it up and there I was. I saw someone I knew from Grandhustle and followed them backstage. As I got up on stage, I noticed that T.I. had gotten up and was talking. It was all a big chaos and I never even got to hear what Tip was saying…he didn’t sound too happy though.
Anyways, I saw someone else from the GH camp and I followed them out into the crowd, by the tables. Ludacris was performing next with Playaz Circle. (At this point I beleive the staff @ Radio One was trying to get TI and Shawty Lo to call truce and calm things down…(so I was told) Soon after I decided to get backstage again and see what was poppin. I went in to the media room to update my girls with what the news was, and then walked over to the backstage VIP area. As I was talking to a friend of mine, I notice the entire GrandHustle (including T.I. ) is on stage performing with Yung LA. It was kinda rubbing it in Shawty Lo’s face. I had to run to the front to at least snap a photo of it. When I got to the front, they had peppered sprayed the audience, and people trying to get in the front were all caughing. A lot of ppl from the crowd were standing up on the tables singing along with Tip and everyone else. Perfect. I caught them on their last verse. I thought I was good, but of course, my battery died. How BS IS THAT??!!? I was SOOOO angry.
Anyways, I figured the show was a wrap after that. No one wanted to stay and wait until something popped off, so everyone took off. On our way out we saw xxx xxxxxx being arrested, which I thought was so whack, because if they wanted to do it, they could have at least done it in the back, and not in front of everyone.
So that was pretty much the run down of how everything happened.
Dirty awards huh!?
If you have any photos or any more info as to how things went down, please feel free to post and let me know!!!!

My adventures in the A
Uncategorized | 3 Comments
So as you can see I’m still here…in the A…
I’m going to definitely be here for another month…and only time will tell for how much longer. In the meantime I’m enjoying working, building with people and doing my interviews. BOB shot a video last night for his single “I’ll be in the sky” and I never got around to going…shoot! But I’m sure ya’ll will see plenty of other behind the scenes footage from the other media folks that were there. Thanks to TJ for the invitation. On that note..click HERE to listen to the latest Willy Northpole (DTP) ft. BOB – Hood Dreamer (HOT HOT HOT)
So this past week my best friend Sarah came to visit me, and I was sooo excited. I actually cried @ the airport when she walked up those stairs!! (I know I get emotional quick)
But so these last couple of days we went out and had a blast. On Wed. we checked out Luckie Lounge, (thanks DJ Trauma for taking care of us) and it was really fun. Gorilla Zoe came through, and so did the ever-so-sexy Trey Songz. On her last night here, I took her to Onyx (Thanks to Pancho for taking care of us) and I think that’s the best time I’ve ever had in a strip club. Saw Gorilla Zoe once again, with Ne-Yo and a lot of other ppl that made our night awesome. Oh and big shout outs to Warren for making sure we always had a line up of girls entertaining us. You know where I’ll be next thursday!!

I heard of Ricco earlier this year when I was in Atlanta for about 10 days. I actually heard him record this song when I went over to GrandHustle, (Ricco is managed by GrandHustle) so I’m really glad it actually came out. He’s a really sweet and humble dude so I really hope everything works out well for him. I know some of you may have already heard the song earlier in October (I heard it as soon as I got in the A in my boy’s car) but I’m now finally getting around to posting it. Ricco is also Fantasia’s brother!!
For more on Ricco visit him on Myspace @ www.myspace.com/ricco336
